Right now I'm working on a project that will be using javascript, It will need some ajax and divs showing and hiding, some elements updating, and maybe some effects when those divs appear and disappear. I've been looking at some of the libraries : jquery mochikit prototype yui script.aculo.us dojo.
I also have learned about the language, and made things from ground up, I know some friends have experiencies with javascript, do you have a preference for one library, success or failures, just to have some opinion from someone I trust. Maybe mailing lists or manuals?
