I'm making a map showing the location of Chicken users around the world. This map is available as a png file and as an extension to Google maps (based on suggestions made in Chicken's mailing list and with lots of help from Arhuaco. As I write this, we are already listing 18 people.
I'm getting the information from Subversion properties set on the chicken-eggs repository, in which Chicken's wiki lives.
Right now I use a script to generate the image (using Xplanet) and XML file but I plan to make a svnwiki extension with its logic (which isn't as easy as it sounds because of the difficulty of tracking dependencies among files in programs that use the pre-rendered model) generic enough to be useful for Bogowiki and other wikis to generate all sorts of maps.
Update: Modified the text above to include a mention of the Google Maps map of chicken users.
